Provided you pass your instructor exam, which our interns have a 100% success rate in, and complete the training program, you’ll be hired by the resort’s official ski school, where many go on to get Ski instructor jobs in Canada, Europe and around the world.

Working Holiday Visa Guides
Planning to Work Abroad? Here’s What You Need to Know.
If you’re aiming to work as a ski instructor overseas, securing the right visa is essential.
For Canada, you’ll need the International Experience Canada (IEC) Working Holiday Visa — available to citizens of many Western countries aged 18–30 (or 35 for some nationalities). These visas are often in high demand and limited in number, so we strongly recommend applying as early as possible although you do need to be 18 to apply.

For Europe, you’ll need to hold a European (EU), Swiss, or Norwegian passport to work as an instructor.

Spaces on our ski instructor internships are extremely limited, especially for the Whistler WBSSU program, so we encourage you to get in touch as soon as possible. Our team is ready to guide you through the application process and answer any questions you may have.
Who We’re Looking For:
Successful applicants typically have some relevant experience and the right attitude. We’re looking for people who are:
Positive, enthusiastic, and highly motivated
Confident communicators who thrive in a team environment
Strong Intermediate to advanced skiers
For the Whistler internship specifically, you’ll also need solid experience in teaching, coaching, or leadership, as well as a valid Canadian work visa – one more reason to begin your application early.
Expert Coaching
World-Class Training Tailored to Each Resort
Each ALLTRACKS ski instructor internship has its own training schedule, depending on the location:
Whistler: 3 weeks of intensive training
Whistler & Sasquatch: 3 weeks of expect coaching in Whistler before heading to Sasquatch to instruct
Cypress Mountain: 4 weeks of focused preparation
Verbier: 10 weeks, including training up to Level 2, required before teaching in Switzerland
No matter which program you choose, you’ll train with some of the most experienced and respected instructors in the industry. The training is designed not only to prepare you for success as a certified instructor, but also to take your all-mountain skiing or riding to the next level.
With a ski instructor internship with us, you’ll be trained in official CSIA, PSIC, or BASI methodology, gaining essential skills in teaching, safety, and technique. Expect plenty of personalised feedback alongside the energy and camaraderie of group sessions – the ideal balance to help you grow and succeed.

This is where all mountain skiers come to live the dream and you too can spend a season here working.
Sasquatch, Canada
Nestled in British Columbia just a couple of hours inland from Vancouver, Sasquatch is a true local’s mountain. While it may be smaller in size, it more than makes up for it with a welcoming atmosphere and a close-knit team culture. At Sasquatch, everyone pulls together. If you choose this option, after training with our expert pros in Whistler, you’ll have the opportunity to live and work at one of Canada’s hidden gems.

Accommodation
Seasonal Accommodation Included with All Internships
Every ALLTRACKS ski instructor internship includes accommodation for the duration of the season, ensuring you’re comfortably settled and ready to focus on your training and work.
Whistler Blackcomb, Canada
A limited number of spots are available in staff housing, offering a simple but highly convenient setup — almost ski-in/ski-out. Once those spaces are filled, we arrange accommodation at the Whistler HI Hostel, a modern and well-equipped hostel. Sasquatch, Canada
You’ll stay at the mountain base in staff housing with the other resort workers, typically in your own bedroom.
Cypress Mountain, Canada
You’ll be based in North West Vancouver, staying in shared apartments with the other ALLTRACKS interns. This location offers easy bus access to the resort while giving you the chance to live in one of North America’s most livable cities — a vibrant urban hub surrounded by the beautiful ocean and mountains.
Verbier, Switzerland
Accommodation in Verbier is in shared resort chalets or apartments, giving you the full European alpine experience for life in the Swiss Alps.
