Alltracks courses take place in Verbier, Switzerland

The skiing in Verbier is legendary! For us, the 4 Valleys area is the best in Switzerland, offering almost limitless terrain and an abundance of snow. The combination of reliable snow fall with high altitude, sunny slopes together with a vibrant resort village makes Verbier the ideal resort in Switzerland for our courses.

When it comes to quality of service, the benefits of operating exclusively at only a handful of destinations are obvious, but we always knew our guests wanted to ski or snowboard at the very top resorts. Verbier, together with Whistler and Val d’Isere, has everything going for it.

For those people keen to work, Verbier is a great resort to be based at with good opportunities to instruct at our partner ski schools.

SNOW: Switzerland's Powder Captial

Most of the the skiing in Verbier is well over 2000 metres and this high altitude brings some of the snowiest conditions in the Alps. With the skiing rising to 3300 metres on Mont Fort, you are all but guaranteed great snow and a very long season.

As so many ALLTRACKS guests want to improve their powder technique and enjoy the pleasure of off piste skiing, Verbier is the ideal Swiss resort.

SKI AREA: SIZE MATTERS

Verbier is the epicentre of the vast Four Valleys ski area. With 95 lifts and over 400km of pistes it really does offer something for all skiers. However, with the abundance of lift accessible off piste runs and numerous ungroomed ski itineraries, it is perhaps best suited to strong intermediate to expert skiers. This makes Verbier ideal for our courses and choosing a resort with such varied terrain is a real bonus for an extended training programme.

The size of the ski area only tells half the story though. The quality and variety is what really sets Verbier apart from other large connected resorts. From world class tree riding, huge open powder bowls, steep couloirs, long pistes, glaciers and world class freestyle facilities, Verbier has it all. The fact that the Freeride World Tour rolls through each year is testament to the quality of the challenging terrain.

THE VILLAGE: Authentic & Fun

Verbier village sits on a sunny plateau at 1500m enjoying a truly beautiful aspect and consistently voted one of the top ten resorts in Europe.

Importantly for those of you considering one of our longer courses, Verbier is not a resort that shuts down outside the ski season and is home to thriving community of skiers, snowboarders and others who love life in the mountains. We feel this this really adds to the experience of spending an extended time in a resort town as not only will you enjoy the additional amenities available but you’ll also feel part of a wider community.

There are countless activities to enjoy when not skiing. Not only is Verbier home to Switzerland’s best après ski, but also offers a wide collection of mountain stores, cafes and restaurants and much more.

There are numerous exciting events in Verbier throughout the season not least of all, the Freeride World Tour where you can witness live the best skiers on earth giving it their all – something to aspire to…

Accommodation in Verbier

Whilst on the course, we want you to have a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Accommodation is in homely, well located, comfortable chalets and apartments which you will share with other guests. All the chalets are within walking distance to the lifts and centre of Verbier.

We strongly feel that being in accommodation like this makes for a much better experience than a motel, hostel or hotel as you truly have a place to call home.

Although exact facilities vary from place to place, you can be sure that our accommodation is of a comfortable standard and all have a separate sitting room and free WIFI. Below are some photographs to give a guide.

Room Choices

The rooms are generally twin or triple share. There is no price difference between these options and we do our best to group people with others of similar age/stage of life. The triple rooms are larger than the twins. A limited number of single rooms are available (for an additional cost) for those guests who wish to book a private room.

If you would like to chat about specific Verbier accommodation locations and room choices, please do get in touch. We fully appreciate that where you stay is important.

If you would like to arrive early or extend your stay, we can generally provide that (for a cost), but please do let us know in advance as places do often get fully booked.
