A Day in the Life With AllTracks
Curious as to what life in the mountains will look like?
If you’re thinking of joining us on one of our ski courses, most of your days will look something like this…..
A day in the life….
Wake up
Check the weather and never tire of grabbing a view of the mountains over a quick breakfast.
Lift Off
Jump on the Excalibur Gondola to meet your coaching group at the mid station. Or head up a little earlier for a cheeky pow lap before coaching.
Morning Coaching Session
Although your coach will mix things up making the best of the snow conditions and terrain appropriate for your group – usually, component and challenge sessions take place in the morning. These give you detailed feedback, video and verbal cues to enable real skills progression.
Lunch
Stop off to refuel – either using your on hill discount or packed picnic (in most Whistler On hill restaurants, bringing your own lunch is totally cool) . Chat through things with your coach, or upload your best powder run to Insta 😉….
Afternoon Coaching Session
Led by your coach, you’ll explore the best terrain Whistler Blackcomb has to offer (including plenty of secret stashes) and hopefully enjoy the best skiing of your life.
Apres Ski
Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Whistler’s Apres Ski scene either at one of the Alltracks socials or a quiet coffee or hot chocolate back at the lodge. For those of you who are super energetic, head to Whistler Core for a work out, yoga session or indoor climb. Occasionally you will have an evening class on equipment maintenance or avalanche safety – but most evenings are your own.
Swim, Hot Tub and Sauna
Relax at the Lodge – enjoying a swim followed by a hot tub and sauna to recharge for the next day.
Supper
Dine in the Lodge where all our condos have full, well equipped kitchens or head to the village centre for supper out at one of the favourite local haunts. Whistler is home to more cafes and restaurants than any other Canadian resort.
Rest or Night Out
Reflect on a great day with your course mates over a drink, or take in one of the many events that take place throughout the season such as stand up comedy, watch night time freestyle displays, open mics, quiz nights, film festival, theatre, watch ice hockey, play 5 a side football or the cinema. Or simply relax back at your accommodation and prepare for another day in the mountains.
