ALLTRACKS 4-Week Ski Instructor Course: The Ultimate Mountain Training
Our 4 week ski instructor course delivers the ultimate blend of personal performance training and instructor exam preparation. Whether you’re aiming for the PSIC or CSIA Level 1, our team of top coches will help you not only pass the exam but push your skiing beyond what you thought possible — all within a fun, supportive group of fellow skiers.
We start by exploring Whistler’s terrain, North America’s largest resort, and thoroughly analysing your technique, identifying what’s working and what can be improved. From there, we build on your skills across Whistler’s best runs. Using video analysis and our proven training methods, you’ll see real, measurable progress — so when exam day comes, you’ll be ready.
Please note: While we will assist where possible in helping you find work as an instructor after the course, employment is not guaranteed and job offers may become available at short notice.

Course Schedule
Welcome to Whistler
A warm welcome at the airport, and a coach ride to the resort to settle into your accommodation. Next morning, you’ll receive a welcome briefing, be introduced to some of our instructors and we will help you choose your ski equipment if required. We’ll show you around the resort and collect your season pass before bringing the group together for a welcome party with a couple of drinks and some of Whistler’s greatest pizza.
Let's Ski!
Meet at 9 where Guy will oversee the split into coaching groups and you’ll meet your personal instructor. Get ready to explore the whole of the Whistler Blackcomb resort so you know the lie of the land. With loads of miles under your belt in the first few days, your coach will already be able to analyse your technique – whilst you have fun!
Progression
Building on your experiences in week 1, we’ll start coaching according to our Unique Training Formula which splits sessions into Component, Challenge and Free Range tuition. Using regular video analysis you’ll see your progress visually and also receive instructor methodology clinics too. Guy will cover ski maintenance so you keep your gear in the best possible condition. And don’t forget the weekly apres-ski socials! This course also often coincides with the Whistler Film festival so you’ll be busy on and off the slopes.
Level 1 exam
Time for your first exam. Our entire coaching team are qualified examiners so you’ll feel confident and well prepared. We’ll be here to celebrate your success on completion too.
After the course
Although you may be heading back at the end of this programme, some guests stay on and spend the rest of the season working. It is important to understand that a job after the 4 week course is not guaranteed, and jobs can come at late notice. The 2024/25 winter had far fewer jobs than guests who wanted to stay on and work, but previous years have seen the many of the applicants be successfully be recruited.
