Step out of the office and into the mountains

If you are a keen skier taking a career break, one of our extended courses can be an ideal way to spend your time constructively. 

Not only will you transform your technique, you also have the opportunity to earn instructor qualifications, learn more about avalanche safety and the mountain environment and potentially spend the winter working as an instructor.

ALLTRACKS courses have proved popular with career breakers of all ages attracting people aged 18 – 60s from all over the world. So whether you are taking a break from your current job for a couple of months, or looking for an entirely new career,we have an option for you.

Our programmes run from mid November to the end of April from a couple of weeks to the entire season.

  • We can help you find paid work

    If you’re not ready to take the salary break along with the career break, you’ll be in just the right place to put your new skills into practice and start earning your own way. Although an instructor job is not guaranteed after all our courses, many people have gone on to work after their course. Please understand the working opportunities vary from course to course so do call or email the office in advance to get advice on the most suitable option. It’s important to understand that some years there are more applicants than jobs after the regular instructor courses, and job offers can come at short notice. If you’re absolutely set on working straight afterwards, go for one of our internships which have a 100% success rate in working immediately after the training course.
