Either based at Whistler Blackcomb, home to North America’s largest ski and snowboard school, or Cypress Mountain which offers a more intimate resort experience just outside vibrant Vancouver.

Ready to ride, teach, and live the mountain life? Your season starts here.

Train, Qualify & Get Hired

Get Paid to Snowboard.

When you join an ALLTRACKS snowboard instructor internship, you’re not just signing up for expert coaching — you’re stepping into a pathway that leads to a paid job as a snowboard instructor for the rest of the season. As long as you pass your Level 1 exam and complete the training programme, you’ll be hired by the resort’s official snowboard school.

Every past ALLTRACKS snowboard intern has secured a job at the same resort where they trained — no last-minute relocations, no surprises.

Whether you’re planning a dream gap year, taking an epic career break, or looking to start a full-time career on snow, this is your chance to live and work in the mountains doing what you love.

Spaces are limited and fill up quickly, so if you’re keen, reach out to the ALLTRACKS team today. We’re here to guide you through the process, answer any questions, and help you get started.

Looking for a more traditional snowboard instructor course without a job placement? We’ve got that too — just ask!

Working Holiday Visa Guides

Planning to Work Abroad? Here’s What You Need to Know.

If you’re aiming to work as a snowboard instructor overseas, securing the right visa is essential.

For Canada, you’ll need the International Experience Canada (IEC) Working Holiday Visa — available to citizens of many Western countries aged 18–30 (or 35 for some nationalities). These visas are often in high demand and limited in number, so we strongly recommend applying as early as possible although you do need to be 18 to apply.

The good news? ALLTRACKS offers a step-by-step visa application guide to make the process smooth and stress-free. Just request it when you contact us — we’re here to help.

For Europe, you’ll need to hold a European (EU), Swiss, or Norwegian passport to work as an instructor.

World-Class Snowboard Training, Built for Each Resort

Every ALLTRACKS snowboard instructor internship has its own tailored training schedule, depending on the resort:

  • Whistler: 3 weeks of intensive, high-performance coaching

  • Cypress Mountain: 4 weeks of focused, hands-on preparation

Whichever location you choose, you’ll be coached by some of the most experienced and respected snowboard instructors in the industry. The programme is built to help you pass your CASI Level 1 certification and elevate your all-mountain riding to the next level.

You’ll train using official CASI methodology, building key skills in teaching, technique, and safety. With a combination of personalised feedback and the support of a like-minded group, you’ll progress quickly — and have an incredible time doing it.

Three Incredible Resorts — Each with Its Own Unique Atmosphere

Every ALLTRACKS internship location offers a distinctive experience, but all deliver world-class training and unforgettable mountain living.

Whistler Blackcomb, Canada
Welcome to the heart of Canadian snowboard culture. As the largest area in North America, Whistler Blackcomb is home to over 1,000 instructors and offers a vibrant mountain town atmosphere with unmatched ski terrain and energy. This is where all mountain riders come to live the dream.

Cypress Mountain, Canada
Vancouver’s local gem, Cypress combines the best of both worlds: a friendly, close-knit resort community and the perks of nearby city life. Enjoy an authentic mountain experience with breathtaking views over the city and Pacific Ocean — a truly unique place to live, train and teach.

Seasonal Accommodation Included with All Internships

All ALLTRACKS ski instructor internships include accommodation for the duration of the season, ensuring you’re comfortably settled and ready to focus on your training and work.

Whistler Blackcomb
A limited number of spots are available in staff housing, offering a simple but highly convenient setup — almost ski-in/ski-out. Once those spaces are filled, we arrange accommodation at the Whistler HI Hostel, a modern and well-equipped hostel. Full details are available on our Whistler page, with a link to the hostel’s website for a closer look.

Cypress Mountain
You’ll be based in North West Vancouver, staying in shared apartments with the other ALLTRACKS interns. This location offers easy bus access to the resort while giving you the chance to live in one of North America’s most livable cities — a vibrant urban hub surrounded by the beautiful ocean and mountains.
