1 Week Off Piste Ski Course Val d’Isere
Push Your Boundaries
Deepen Your Skills & Discover New Terrain
Spend a week in Val d’Isère, one of Europe’s most snow-sure high-alpine resorts, and take your off piste skiing to the next level. Set against the stunning backdrop of the French Alps, this 1-week off-piste & ski touring course is designed for confident resort skiers looking to go further and enjoy the very best snow conditions and terrian at France’s premier reosrt.
You’ll train and explore with a friendly group of like-minded skiers, led by extremely experienced guides who will introduce you to the most rewarding snow and terrain across the entire Val d’Isère – Tignes ski area — one of the most varied and exciting ski regions in Europe.
Led by Henry Schniewind, a globally respected expert in off-piste safety. A Fully Certified French Ski Instructor through the Ecole Nationale de Ski et d’Alpinisme, Henry brings nearly two decades of local experience in Val d’Isère and is a Professional Member of the American Avalanche Association.
Compared with other ALLTRACKS courses there is less technical technique coaching as the focus is off piste guiding. However, we will give specific guidance on technique to develop your ability in more challenging terrain and snow types.
As with all ALLTRACKS courses, groups are capped at just six skiers per instructor or guide, allowing for plenty of individual attention and safety while still enjoying the camaraderie that comes from skiing in a close-knit group.
If you’re ready to push beyond the piste, improve your off piste techniques, and explore some of the best off-piste terrain in the Alps – this course is for you.
Whilst we will ski tour on this course, the aim is to maximise ski time and so tours will be deliberately kept relatively short.
